We built this house south of town.  Here you see pictures of the exterior and of the entrance way and front room.

Here are shots of the exterior, with a close-up on the entranceway.  The brickwork and the tile work were both done by others, but the we created the structure of the house and most of the other details of the exterior, including the windows and the roof.    

We laid this wood floor that extends through much of the rest of the house.  The pitch of the ceiling in this entranceway helps add to the grandeur of the room. 

The entranceway leads right into the living room.  Big, beautiful windows allow a lot of light to enter the room and the pitched ceiling makes an already large room feel even bigger.
