When Dale started building furniture on the side, he made several bookcases for his daughter, Bailey.  Both Bailey and Dale really like oak, so he made all of them in oak.  Bailey is a bibliophile so they get plenty of use.

Here is the first one he made for her, in the mid-90's.  It has a red oak stain to make the color a little richer.

The next bookcases were built to fit a specific wall, so they are shorter.  These also have a red oak stain applied to them.

Dale did not add stain to the last set of bookcases, letting the natural oak color show through.  This set was built in two pieces and then stacked.
