Maple Crib
Dale built this beautiful crib for his third grandchild when he was born. He purchased the plans for the design along with the hardware. The main body of the crib is maple, and Dale chose lighter pieces of the maple for the narrow piece towards the top of each end.
The crib insets are walnut. The picture below really highlights the difference in color between the maple used on a majority of the crib, the maple strip toward the top of each end, and the dark walnut used for the insets.
