Historic Preservation

There are many different facets to historic preservation.  Sometimes a company accurately restores a building to be the exact match of how it appeared when it was first built.  While these projects often turn out beautifully, it is a little inconvenient to run a modern home with the same amenities as in 1911, even if the structure is from that year.  So preservationists find themselves in projects of adaptive reuse for old commercial properties or creating a sympathetic addition to a historic home.  In our site you will find examples of both.
